Just a short list of things that made the day perfect:
Sam slept from 7:45 until 5:30 this morning
I took a loooong hot shower--no kids peeking in on me either!
Paul and the kids gave me a raspberry bush for the yard, running shoes, and a cd
We made it to church 15 minutes early
Paul spoke in sacrament meeting
--that is the only reason we were so early--
and he did a fabulous job!
While at church Paul suggested that, in honor of Mother's Day,
we all take a "big ol' fat nap" after church--
I slept for two hours! {thanks Paul}
Barbecued chicken with roasted asparagus, rolls, and delicious "Mother's Day Brownies" with sprinkles for dinner
Kids in bed at 8:15--yep, all three kids in bed woot! woot!
What a perfect day!

Can I just say that even though I complain, and get frustrated, and want to pull my hair out sometimes, and scream in my head...and sometimes out loud...with my mouth closed to try to muffle the sound so I don't scare my kids too bad, and shake my fists, and roll my eyes...especially when drinks are spilled, and sometimes say words I never want to hear my kids say.....even with all that stuff....I absolutely love my children and I love my role as a mother.
Happy Mother's Day
