3rd times the charm...right?

Yep, I've attempted to blog twice already today and now that its almost 11:00 in the pm and the kids are sleeping,
I am going to try again.

I've just had a lot on my mind. Random thoughts. The kind that keep me up at night.
Did someone just say it was almost midnight.....

So here goes. WARNING! I am not sure of what is going to come out of my brain and onto this blog. Just warning you. And apologizing now. Don't be offended.

I bought a swimsuit today. A black one. I asked Paul's opinion. He said he liked the black one. The suit, not the model.
I wasn't exactly thinking black. But I did ask his opinion.
And today I bought it....online.
The black one.
I hope it fits.
Just like it does on that sexy model.
Should I dye my hair brown.
ha, kidding.
don't answer that!

Connor has been going to swimming lessons.
In February? Yes. We can get away with it down here in Sunny St. George.
He loves it. He puts on his shy face. He hunches his shoulders and his cheeks turn a light pink color when we first get there.
It's so cute.
He warms right up though. He loves the water.
In two days I am seeing his confidence in himself change. He's not so afraid of that water.
It's lovely.
He also has discovered, ok I introduced him and now he loves, pbskids.org He wants to play "computer games" all day. All day. Especially when it's "mommy's turn" on the computer.
He is care-free and happy. Just how all 3 year old boys should be.
He makes my heart happy, and my head crazy but I love him.
Oh how I love him!

Dylan loves to go to swimming lessons too. Only his swimming lessons are with mom!
It's so fun. Just me and Dylan in the pool.
We jump, kick, paddle, splash and play on the slide.
We don't go down the slide. It pretty much gave me an enema and scared Dylan so we stay away. (tmi, oh well I warned you at the beginning).
As for a brain tumor update. All is well in Zion. Well, all is well in his right thalamus, that's where the tumor is, not Zion. But really, everything is going well. I don't really like to think too much about the tumor because swear words come to my mind. I am trying to teach my kids not to swear.
Dylan is normal.
Really.
Ask my mom.
She got to see him a few weeks ago. It was the first time in months. Months, I tell you. And she said he looks so good. And he does. Yes, his left hand looks funny sometimes. But not always. He uses it though and that is so good.
If you didn't know my kids, which I am finding out we have some friendly blog stalkers who really don't know my kids, you wouldn't be able to pick out which one has the tumor just by looking at them.

Speaking of blog stalkers.
Dear blog stalkers (only the friendly ones, of course)~
Thank you for stalking, uh, I mean taking a friendly gander at my blog.
Please leave a comment.
Thank you
Tara

um, yes. I find myself bawling at totally random times if I think about that blasted tumor.
What the beep is wrong with me?
Like the whole time I have been typing this here post, tears. Lots and lots of tears. Never mind the fact that my hubby is working long hours like a mad man and my kids are sleeping. Maybe its that time of month? (aaagggghhhh tmi, I do apologize, or at least I already did at the beginning of my post)
Ok, its taken me a long time to get through this and not much has been said but just know that I feel better. Feel better? What? Because I felt bad or sick? No! Sometimes I just have to get it out. Post. You know?

I think it's time for a prayer and lala land.
Goodnight

oh wait, what's a post without pictures of my babes:
(when I say "babes" on the blog I mean my kids...babies....babes, get it? Not Paul, he is my hunk-a-junk...bwahhahahahaha)the aftermath of a quick run to Target: a pinwheel, swedish fish, and a Thomas the Train dvd....
oh and two very happy boys!

aren't they so handsome. dylan loves to wear his boots and connor doesn't leave the house without Robin or Batman or Thomas or Percy or Deisel 10. Don't ask!

pbskids.org....he's getting a headstart?

nothin' like a bare bum!

oh and another thing, gosh I am full of randomness, we have been working on our garden.
Pictures to come!

I LOVE the randomness of this post! I'm a blog stalker...but clearly you already knew that! ;) Oh, so many things for me to say! Ummm....PBSkids?? This is our new thing! In fact, as I sit here and type this, Anders is singing "PBSkids.org." Weird. He has no idea what he's saying. I have gotten in to the bad habit of checking my "stuff" on the computer while my kids are awake and it drives me NUTS when I have to fight Anders for some computer time! We are huge fans of Dinosaur Train, Super Why, Sid the Science kid, Word World, and my personal favorite, The Electric Company! It sounds like we're TV junkies, but all these shows are on within the first few hours of the morning...when I'm getting ready! :) By the way, I love your swimming suit! Buying a swimming suit online is risky, but what are the other options? The selection in the store just aren't the same. I agree with Paul...Black! So super cute! Okay, so I am seriously so excited you're thinking about coming up to visit us. I miss your guts like crazy!

ooh...totally love the swimming suit! LOVE. IT. also...Micah started playing pbskids about the time he was 3, and it was SO weird to be able to have a kid playing on the computer! he's pretty much a pro now (which is nice...he can play *almost* all the games by himself, and navigate the site himself, too.) he would totally be on the computer all day long if he could! he has also discovered the nintendo games that we have on our computer, and he wants to play those, but he needs more help playing Mario than the PBS games. So, we usually will let him play "mario" games on Saturdays, and he plays PBS games the rest of the week, just because they are educational, and he is actually getting something out of them! :)

Tara - I really am a friendly blog stalker. Promise! I grew up in Centerfield with the Mogles, and my brother was good friends with Mark. I thought the world of Paul's mom. Loved her to pieces. The Mogles really are a wonderful, close family. I stumbled across your blog about the time you found out about Dylan's tumor, and I couldn't help but follow your story ever since. You and Paul amaze me with how well you've handled this whole thing with little Dylan. You're entitled to tears. You're entitled to swear. Really. You truly are an inspiration, and that's why I decided to comment - finally.

Reading about what you guys go through makes me hug my sweet son a lot longer, be more patient, and treasure the time we get to spend together. You and Paul really do have a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your story.

And if it's okay I'll keep stalking ya. :o)

I just LOVE you Tara! Way funny about the slide at the pool... reminds me of my 7 peaks days....

Mats plays computer ALL day long too... I feel like a bad mom for letting him just sit there all day... but dang, it is a little nice to have some peace and quiet when he is entertained! Your kids are so cute, and you are such an amazing mom with so much courage! Glad to read so much about you spending quality time with the kids...no matter how crazy your life seems! you are my hero lady!

I'm a stalker too. I have good intentions of commenting, but I usually have Reagan in my hands. Bridger just discovered PBS kids and I, too, have to share my computer time...dang kids.
I like your randomness.
