My house is a tornado of empty backpacks, pajama bottoms, Lightening McQueen cars, every kind of ball imaginable, mismatched socks, dragons, bikes, crayons, scribbled on papers, burp cloths, blankies, candy wrappers, and diapers {in two different sizes}.
Some how the clutter and messes are what make me feel complete.
Whole, as a mother, I guess you could say.
Today brings nothing special or new. Today has been the same as the past 24 days. I wake several times in the night to soothe a crying baby. Dylan is asleep, sometimes sleep talking, in my bedroom as usual. Connor is out like a light in his bedroom down the hall. Paul attempts to sleep as I rustle and move around in the night.
The morning sunrise brings another work day for Paul. For me, two blue eyed boys with blankies, a few cars in hand, and smiles on their faces ready to start another day. I am tired. Another night gone by too fast. Another day added to the life of my new baby. I drag my tired body out of bed and recommit myself to eating healthy and making the most of this new day, at home with my children.
All three of them.
Some how the tiredness goes away, and the morning routine makes me feel complete.
Whole as a mother. A mother of three.

Feels good, doesn't it? I have had the exact thoughts over the past week. There is nothing better than the feeling of wholeness and peace when you think about your family!
She looks just like you did when you were a baby. So cute!

Best. Post. Ever. Tara Boots. I know I already said it to you but still as I look around at all my stained and ruined things I just have to smile at it because someday it won't be there anymore. These truly are the best times of life. I wish I could hold on to them forever this way!
