Back to Work--Full-time

It's true.

I have decided to go back to work. Full-time. I have so enjoyed this lazy, hot summer with my children. They have played in the backyard, ran at the park, splashed a little in the pool, and had a blast. I have sat and watched them. all. summer. long. This has been one of the laziest summers ever. And so, I am going back to work. I feel so much more productive as a wife and mother when I have goals, focus, and purpose. I feel more accomplished when my daily schedule is full to the brim with "stuff." Connor starts preschool next week and so two days a week, for two hours, I will only have to worry about Dylan. Perfect for one-on-one time with Dylan and work time for me.

What's my new schedule? Not really sure yet, but its going to include things like:

cleaning out the fridge--weekly...like I used to :)
sweeping-and mopping my floors daily--trust me, they need it daily
vacuuming the floors
swish-and-swipe the bathrooms
organizing my closets
cleaning out drawers
rearranging cupboards
staying caught up on laundry
dusting--not sure I even remember how?!?!

and then, no more neglecting this ever-bulging-changing-shifting-saggy-ness--that is my body!

Three kids is already taking it's toll on me. And number three isn't even here yet. I have always had a desire to be healthy; not just for myself but for my husband and children. They deserve a healthy fun mom.

Heck, I deserve a healthy me.

Here's to my new job--or at least getting my old one back!

Wish me luck :)

Believe me...an unsaggy Mom is a fun Mom! It's hard work, but oh so worth it! I went to the doctor's today and when they checked my blood pressure and pulse, the nurse said, "obviously you're a runner." Yeah! It felt so good. I've worked so hard. I highly recommend it. I have a hard time believing that you are out of shape. You are so active! You're amazing! I'm considering picking up a full-time job myself. I haven't committed to it yet though, not sure if I'm qualified enough yet! :)

You are amazing! Good luck with all that work, I have a hard time keeping up with housework and exercise and I don't even have kids! I also loved your pre-school post, so cute to see the kids going back to school.
