Saturday the Mogle clan, and I use the word "clan" because that is what it is... The Mogle's are an interesting bunch. We like to gather and be around our family and around people who act and think like us. Which outside of the Mogle last name, there is not anyone that fits their mold. Laughing, farting, talking about things taboo, and did I mention laughing. We like to do poor imitations of people (ie. Susan and her Jabba the Hutt impersonation), make fun of each other, and do stupid stunts that usually end up in someone getting hurt. But as long as someone was laughing before that person got hurt, then it was all worth the injury. Anyway, back to Saturday. Saturday, the Mogle's went to Goblin Valley. It's about a 2-hour drive from the Mogle mothership in Centerfield. Everyone piled in their vehicles (probably the only year in history where someone's car didn't break down!) and we headed east on I-70. Heading through Salina Canyon the weather was not looking good. It was snowing and the thermometer in the car said it was 31 degrees and dropping. Each car muttered their own cuss words and the pilgrimage moved on I-70. As we came out on the other side of the mountain the skies cleared up and the temperature gauges started rising. The weather turned out to be good.
We arrived in Goblin Valley about noon. There was a little wind, but not enough to interfere with our fun. We ate lunch and then jumped down to where the "Goblins" are and ran wild. Here are the pics of the weekend through our camera.
Now you believe me when I say "clan"!

The kids loved jumping and climbing off the rocks.

Turns out that Connor is not afraid of rock climbing. Many times we found him in spots where the simple slip of his shoes would have us in the ER. But he didn't care. He had fun trying to keep up with all the kids.

Dylan wanted no help from anyone, but wanted to be everywhere the big kids were.

Easter morning came and surprised us with treats and junk left from the Easter Bunny. After this Easter and last, my kids have officially gotten more stuff then I have from all my Easters combined.

As you can tell from Connor's face, bubbles were a big hit. How did the Easter Bunny know??

Sunday at Grammy's house there was an Easter egg hunt. Connor was excited. I only wish he would have collected more of the money eggs.
Grammy catered us to an Easter egg hunt and then to a wonderful Easter dinner. Thanks.

After wards we just sat around and lounged. It's kind of funny every time we visit, Shelbie and Grammy always try and get Connor to go for a ride on the horse. Usually if he has warmed up Shelbie can get him on the horse. It usually consists of just a quick jaunt around the tramp or something like that. But he likes to go as long as it isn't too long.

We had a great weekend and hopefully y'all did too. It was good to see a bunch of family and to get out and do something. Thanks and peace out!
