We're off to a good start....

So far 2010 has offered happy days in the Mogle home. To bring in the new year we went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We went at 4:00 to avoid all the crowds...we enjoyed our meal with all the senior citizens in St. George. (what can we say, that's how we roll around here:). It was fabulous.
They were so excited to get to eat out!

As for ringing in the new year...lets just say Paul and I consumed all of this....by ourselves:
Our night was filled with eating, watching random tv shows, eating, playing Guitar Hero...ok, only like 10 minutes of Guitar Hero, and Paul jumping around in the freezing cold in his skivvy's at midnight.

Happy beepin' New Year....2010 is going to be good to us. Yes it is.

We are getting our garden ready. We decided to make the garden area a lot bigger this year. There's going to be a bit more work involved this year and I am so excited. Not for all the work but for the veggies. mmmmm!

Rocks. Lots and lots of rocks....

After lots of shoveling.....we now have lots of crappy dirt.
But our garden is going to be lovely. Just you wait.

Yes 2010 has been good to us so far. I think the best thing so far is that Dylan's 8th, yes I said EIGHTH, treatment is scheduled for next week......in St. George! I cannot even tell you in words how excited I am not to have to load up the car with dvd players, dvd's, fruit snacks, apple juice, sippy cups, clothes, diapers, wipes, bags full of stuff, and medical supplies.....I am so happy! Oh, and the money we are going to save. Just know that I am excited to finally get to stay in St. George for this treatment. I have to soak it up while I can because next month it's back to Salt Lake....MRI time in February. That little sucker better be shrinking. Ok, I'll take "stable" but I would love to hear "shrinking."

On to other things. My Auntie Carol. Let me tell you about my Auntie Carol. She is something else. She really is. She is one of the most thoughtful, loving, sincere people on this earth. Today in the mail we received a package with pictures, and well wishes from the Christensen Family Christmas party that we missed.
Remember, we can't really take Dylan out and about with lots of people, and kids, and sickies, and germs.
But that Auntie Carol, she sent us this package. Not to tell us sorry or to make us feel better because we missed the party but simply because, she was thinking about us. She is awesome. And I love her. There was also some cold hard cash, a giftcard, and some gift certificates for us to go to dinner. Thank you! Thank you to Grandma, Dad, Alan, Gene, Dale, Linda, Carol, my sissy and brothers, and all of their families for thinking of my family this holiday season. It was a wonderful holiday season. Certainly not the typical holiday that we enjoy with lots of family but it was peaceful and full of love. Thank you! I love you.

May 2010 keep getting better everyday.

If we would have remembered you were in St. George we would have tried to meet up with you while we were there for a wedding. So glad your year is starting out great! Texas Roadhouse Rolls - yummm. New Years with Hint of Lime chips, Starburst, Redvines - my kind of party. Thinking about gardening - jealous. Sweet gifts - what a blessing. Staying home for Christmas and having treatment in St. George - so happy for you.
