Viva, Las Vegas!

Since Connor is so good at eating (I'm being very sarcastic) we thought we would let him try the ol' "olives on the ends of your finger" trick. He was entertained with that and kept eating and eating the olives. He thought he was pretty funny. We had to take them away from him.

Grandpa Mogle came to town Wednesday night and stayed 'til Friday. All the city council members from each city in the state had a meeting down here at the Dixie Center and so he stayed with us. Thursday night he got us tickets to their downtown events. He could have saved the hassle of getting us tickets because as you can see Connor was highly entertained with the water features of downtown St. George.

He tried drinking the water. Hopefully he didn't swig any while our backs were turned. But knowing Connor like we do, he probably got a few swigs in. He thought it was warm enough to jump all the way in. He got mad at us for pulling him back as his legs were dangling over.

This weekend we got a wild hair and decided to go see the big city lights of Las Vegas. We left Friday night and stayed the night at Circus Circus. We had loads of fun and well you know the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". We will let a few stories out though.

Connor appears to have had one to many "milks." It's a good thing he wasn't driving.

Here is the circus act at Circus Circus.
They were an acrobat group from Africa.
Apparently they were on
'America's Got Talent'

Then here are some views from on top of the Stratosphere and some photos in Ceasar's Palace.

Saturday we went visit our friends Brady and Jill who live in Henderson while Brady goes to med school. We haven't seen their kids in a while and had forgotten how red-headed they are. While we were there the Blackham's suggested that we go to this park in Boulder City. So we closed out the trip here. Connor had a great time.

The trip home is always the best!
