As if this blog wasn't already all the "Mogle Family News" you needed.....I just didn't want to have the title be "Dylan Update" again. That being said here is the news about our family:
Paul (aka Dad): He is staying very busy at work. (yay for Horrocks Engineers!) He as been putting in a lot of extra hours getting the airport parkway road ready. He could be the future project manager on this huge project! He works for some amazing people who value family and allow him to take time off for his family whenever he needs to.
Tara (aka Mom...me): Um, I'm staying really busy? Not the "busy" I would really choose to be but I would say that I am busy. Between Connor, Dylan, Paul, keeping up on the house, couponing....which I am in love with, and fitting in a little "me-time," I am staying pretty busy.
Con-Man (aka Connor): He is getting too smart. The last few months he has been my little trooper. Between getting dumped off at my sister's house to play with cousins, to long car trips he is doing awesome. His funny little personality and smile keep me going. He is getting really good at puckering up his lips to give me a kiss, whenever I ask! I love this kid. He just makes me happy. He is my forever baby and he's growing up way too fast. He still LOVES his cars and now he is getting picky about which cars he will play with...and which cars he will Dylan play with. LOVE HIM!!!!
Dilly-Dog (aka Dylan): Yesterday this little squirt had his first blood transfusion. His blood counts have been progressively getting lower and lower each week. Last week we had to go to emergency for a fever...yes a fever, and it was only 101.4 but for him that equals a trip to the ER. He was so brave through everything. Monday Jeanette, our home health nurse came and drew more blood and his counts were scary low so Tuesday we headed to the hospital for a blood transfusion. Paul and I didn't realize how white/pale he really was until twenty minutes into the transfusion and then he was so pink! It was crazy how fast it helped him. He is doing so good today. We keep joking that he is our little vampire....who needs Edward anyway! He is bouncing around and happy as ever. We know that he is being watched over and we know that our prayers are being answered because through all this crap....he is doing so well. And so are we for that matter!
I guess that is it for Mogle Family News. We are trying to lay low and keep the drama at a minimal level. NO sickies, fevers, or DRAMA for today.
A huge thank you to all of you who have called, emailed, texted, prayed for and thought about our family. We definitely couldn't go through all this alone and so thank you! We are doing well and feeling good. Hopefully I will make it up to Sanpete this weekend to visit family....we'll see!
