Washington County Fair

Well you know summer is winding down once all the county fairs start up.

We decided that with summer coming to an end we would go to the Washington County Fair. We were going to go Wednesday night but it was raining pretty good down here. Determined that nothing, not even Mother Nature, was going to stop us from the county fair we decided to get tickets to the Derby on Saturday night! We have missed the Sanpete County derby and figured this would give us our Derby fix that we were craving.

It wasn't as good or as big as Sanpete's but it was still fun. We were wondering how the 2 little boys would handle it.

Connor loved it! He got to spend the night watching cars! It doesn't get any better than that in his mind. He was on "Cloud 9" the whole time.

It was a little loud for lil' Dylan but he was great.

The video is the derby and then they had a rock climbing part. Anyone that wanted to try it could. The Toyota truck was pretty fast and then thought he would try it backwards and almost tipped over. A derby car gave it a shot and it ended up like you think it would.



We were disappointed in the lack of pregnant women smoking, mullets, shirtless men w/ more tattoos then teeth, and guys who will fight you just because you looked at them from 10 rows away. But we did see our fair share of tattoos and people all hopped up on something. Just not as many as we were accustomed to seeing at an event like the Demolition Derby!
