Ice Cream!!

Here is dad's Father's Day gift.

You have heard about the "Sleep Monster" from previous posts. Well we managed to snap a rare photo of the "Tub Monster". He appears to be more friendly. Whatever you do, don't look into his eyes! It's part of his trap. He lures you in with the hand and then the next thing you know... bam! He has you!


We purchased an ice cream maker. A long standing Mogle tradition is making homemade ice cream during the summer. Usually it is done in the mountains. We bought an Aroma ice cream maker from Target. Don't buy it! The motor is weak and the hand crank is ... well it sucks.


Cranking away on the ice cream maker got us thinking about "back in the day" when you had to hand crank butter, ice cream, etc. We got thinking those people must have been tough. But then we started thinking we are actually pretty tough and so it wouldn't even phase us. We're just tough like that. Here is one of our wedding photos, if you don't believe us.
